The time to obtain a criminal record is generally 3 to 5 working days. However, thanks to our new digital system, online requests can be processed within 48 hours in some cases.

How can I track the progress of my court case?

You can track the progress of your court case using our online platform. Simply log in with your case number and personal ID. You can also visit the clerk's office of the relevant court to obtain information.

Is mediation mandatory before going to court?

Mediation is not mandatory in all cases, but it is strongly recommended for certain types of disputes, particularly family matters and neighborhood conflicts. In some cases, the judge may order a mediation attempt before continuing with the judicial procedure.

Are digital services accessible from throughout the country?

Yes, our digital services are accessible from throughout Togolese territory. For citizens who do not have internet access, we have set up access points in town halls and certain administrative offices where assistants can help you use these services.
